Girl and Streetlight

Singer-songwriter Jang Deok (born in 1961) created "Girl and Streetlight"(released in 1977). As of 2024, most people who remember singer Jang Deok are in their 60s. Unfortunately, Jang Deok passed away early (1990). Singer Jang Hyeon (born 1956) is Jang Deok's older brother, and he also passed away in 1990.

The song “This Girl and the Streetlight” was created by her when she was 17 to participate in the 1st Seoul Song Festival in 1977. This song was sung by 20-year-old Jin Mi-ryeong (born 1958). 


On January 16, 2023, singer Jeon Yu-jin sang this song amazingly on the MBN King of Singers program.
