Tears of Mokpo - MBN "Our Trot" Program

In the first episode of the program called "Our Trot" by Korean MBN broadcasting station, singer Jeon Yujin sang “Tears of Mokpo”.



This song is about the exploitation and oppression of the Japanese Empire, and It is a song that contains the desperate resistance of Korean people.

Freely moving between "real" and "false" voice, Singer Jeon Yoojin sang faithfully to the original song. It wasn't even an artificial skills and not  the expression of squeezing voice n a burden. There is no sharp rustling sound that is often heard in Korean traditional music.

She is 17 years old, a high school freshman. Her vocal tone is fatal and great.

Korean Singer Jeon Yujin

Introducing Korean singer Jeon Yujin. She was born on October 10, 2006 in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, and as of 2022 she is a freshman in high school. Jeon Yujin is a South Korean trot singer who debuted in 2020. She is being evaluated as a genius singer who appeared like a thunder and lightning in 2019. Although she never learned to sing, she shows off her genius with her overwhelming singing ability. She was certified as a singer in July 2019, when she was a freshman in middle school and she received her grand prize at the 19th Pohang Beach National Song Festival. On May 13, 2024, singer Tae-jin Son, winner of MBN's Burning Trotman, and Yujin Jeon, winner of Queen of Current Singers, performed a heart-throbbing and refreshing couple dance while singing "The Man in the Yellow Shirt"(released in 1961) by singer Myeong-sook Han(born in 1935).
